Registration
You need to register to attend the Astronomers' Days 2016. The number of participants is limited, so please make sure to register as soon as possible. The deadline for registration is 15st April 2016. The participation fee 140€ (member) / 160 € (non-member). The participation fee includes lunches, coffees, a poster session with light snacks on Monday and conference dinner on Tuesday. The participation fee will be invoiced in advance, but the accommodation (see below) will be paid directly to the hotel at the meeting.
Special note for students: Students will pay a reduced participation fee of 50€. Due to the tough financial situation and the ending of the graduate school, there are very limited funds to further support student participation through the society. If any funds remain, we will support the accommodation for graduate students. If you wish to apply for such support, please indicate that on the web form.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations before 12.5. will be fully refunded (or the participation fee will not be charged), for the later cancellations no refunds will be possible.
Accommodation: We have a block reservation at the Hotel Cumulus Koskikatu in Tampere. The prices are 80 €/day for a single and 97 €/day for a double. We will reserve the room for you based on the information you give on the registration form. Note that there is a limited number of single and double rooms available within the block so we book them in the registration order.
Note: Keep in mind that the conference begins at approximately at 10 am on Monday 23th and ends after lunch on Wednesday 25th. It might be convenient to book a room from Sunday onwards.
